After some tricky Wordles over the past few weeks, many users were relieved for an easier entry today.

But many others still found themselves stumped and couldn't believe how obvious the answer was for Wednesday, May 4.

For many, this was their first time getting Wordle in one, with one Twitter user excitedly writing: "FINALLY AFTER MONTHS TODAYS WORDLE WAS MY EVERYDAY STARTING WORD AND I CAN STOP USING IT."

Another commented that it may have been their dad who got the lucky guess and said: "I know that today's Wordle is usually one of my dad's starting guesses so he could get it in one."

Some, however, still had trouble with today's much kinder word of the day.

A Twitter user said: "Angry at todays Wordle could have got it in 2 ended up getting it in 5."

With another mirroring this sentiment, saying: "I could’ve gotten today's Wordle in 1 try."
