Shoppers who want to get an iPhone 14 at a reduced price can do so now thanks to Sky.

The tech giant is offering a new contract on the popular phone which can save shoppers £72 - thanks to its reduction in price from £34 a month to £32 with no extra upfront charges.

Available to order on Sky's website now, the deal covers the iPhone 14 Pro with 128gb of memory - plenty of room for app, photo and video storage. Shoppers must be willing to sign up for a 36-month contract, with the opportunity to upgrade devices after the first two years.

The deal comes after Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 on Tuesday, with prices ranging from £799 to £999. While not yet available on shelves, shoppers can get deals on its predecessor, as older iPhone models tend to see their prices fall with the release of new products.

Apple unveiled the new iPhone 15 on Tuesday

Released in September 2022, the iPhone 14 Pro is just one year old and boasts plenty of technological features that Apple is known for. Its 6.1 inch retina display screen is built with face ID technology to keep strangers from accessing the device.

Its professional grade triple camera lens allows photos to be taken at wide and ultra wide angles for large scale images, as well as a telephoto lens for up close shots. It can also shoot crisp clear video in either 4k or HDR resolution.

Finally, its Apple iOS 16 operating system offers the latest updates on iPhone features including iMessage, mail, iCloud and accessibility. The iPhone 14 Pro comes in a range of sleek colours including space black, rose, deep purple and silver.

If you're in the market for an iPhone 14 but aren't keen on the Pro, Sky is also offering customers a chance to get the iPhone 14 plus for £29 a month. Its smaller version also requires no upfront charge, includes 128gb of memory and comes in six shades - red, purple, black white, yellow and blue.c

Tech deal of the week

Virtual reality headsets are the next frontier of gaming, but their price tags will be a barrier to most shoppers.

And while Amazon's Meta Quest 2 deal has sold out, but another retailer is offering an even better value Black Friday deal. Originally £399.99, savvy shoppers can get the Meta Quest 2 VR headset for just £199 on Very using a special code.

Very's site shows the Meta Quest 2 already reduced to £249.99, but to get the full savings, you'll need to buy it before November 27 and use the code VKEXL to get £50 credited back to your card or account.

The deal works out to be £100 cheaper than Amazon's now sold-out bundle which offered the headset and a £50 gift voucher for £249.99. And over at Currys and Argos, the headset is £249.99. That makes Very the best place to get a Meta Quest 2 for yourself or others this Christmas.
