Seething Ryan Garcia has slammed a 'rat' from within after Gervonta 'Tank' Davis revealed he had eyes within in his training camp.

The explosive reveal comes following Garcia's definitive seventh round knockout defeat to his rival in Las Vegas. Garcia had laughed off the suggestion there was a spy when Tank claimed in a pre-fight press conference there was mole at work opponent's gym. Garcia has now confirmed there was a leaker in a series of Instagram stories posted to his account.. In the first, he wrote: "Actually sad I had a mole in my camp. Like what the f***, that's crazy. But thank God it's brought to light now," along with a rat emoji.

The 24-year-old followed it up by adding: "Also, didn't mean that to come off as an excuse or anything. I lost, period. I'll come back. But I'm just shocked that part of my team crossed me, someone close to me. Unbelievable. But it's a testimony that you must be aware of anyone."

It came after Davis revealed all about his path to boxing glory. Asked ahead of the bout whether he could hurt Garcia to the body, he told FightHype: "He got hurt to the body before. He thinks I don't know that. It wasn't in no fight. Ask him. Let him know that I know he got hurt to the body. Word gets around real fast."

Garcia's fury comes after a sparring partner spoke out about downing Garcia with a body shot during his training camp. Garcia was left wincing by a liver shot in the mega-fight. Unbeaten Mongolian fighter Erdenebat Tsendbaatar said in an Instagram video: "Hey King Ryan, in sparring I injured you with a body shot. Now you lost to Tank. I am sorry. Are you okay?

He then followed up: "Hey King Ryan, my bro! My last post I used Google translate. The translation was incorrect and confusing, my apologies. Who is mole? What are you talking about. I am not mole. I don't even speak English. I don't even like Tank, I will fight him and KO him in the future. During our sparring I tried to help you and sparred Tank's style of boxing. I was cheering for you to win against Tank. You are great boxer, but next time try to learn from sparring and hopefully you will not get hit by the same punch during the fight. Good luck to you and God bless."
