Stars including Robbie Williams and TV chef Gordon Ramsay have revealed they do not allow their children to fly first class when jetting off on trips and holidays in order "to teach the value of humility".

Robbie and his wife Ayda Field explained that when they fly first class they book their four kids into economy as they are keen to avoid raising "brats".

Speaking to the Sunday Times, the 49-year-old said: "My kids fly economy whenever we fly. I turn left and they turn right. That’s terrible. I mean, people will think I’m such a d***.”

She added: “There’s no interest in raising brats. My kids will know [economy] is where they will sit in a plane until they can pay to put themselves in a different part of the plane", as reported by the Mirror.

Robbie and Ayda, 44, share found kids together Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, five and Beau, three. The couple are not the only famous family trying to teach their kids you must work hard for success.

Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, 49, also explained that they do not let their kids sit in first class while traveling in a bid to keep them "grounded"

The TV chef, who just welcomed his sixth kid with Tana, said: “They haven’t worked anywhere near hard enough to afford that. I do not want them sat there with a 10 course f***ing menu with champagne. It is my wife and I’s choice to keep them real.”

The couple also said that they will give each of their kids a 35 per cent deposit to buy a flat, but will not buy the property for them, in order to teach them the value of cash. The 57-year-old old also stated the he will not leave his kids his inheritance.
