Prince Harry looked "cool, sexy and very happy" at the US Grand Prix over the weekend a body language expert has claimed.

Ms Judi James analysed the duke's appearance and behaviour at the sporting event in Austin, Texas as she said that the 39-year-old prince appeared to be the "old version" of himself again as he ditched wife Meghan Markle for some time on the racetrack.

Harry and Meghan have recently returned from a romantic solo trip to the Caribbean but appeared "tense" as they arrived back in the US together, the Express reports.

Speaking to the Mirror, Ms James said: "It's as though the cool, sexy and very happy version of Harry is back in the room again here on a solo trip after his romantic break with his wife."

The duke seemed 'relaxed' and looked handsome on his solo trip to the sporting event in Texas

She added: "His moustache is manicured, his hair is teased up to look fuller, he is sporting a pair of designer shades and his body language looks both relaxed but also excited by the event and the people he is meeting.

"Harry oozes good humour here, with his head up and a smug-looking smile of pleasure on his face as he raises one hand to hail the fans."

Speaking of the 'old' Harry that existed before he quit the Royal Family in 2020 with Meghan, Ms James said: "This version of Harry looks so much like the old one, before all the pressures and stresses of his family and before that haunted expression he is often seen wearing.

"He looks as though he's having fun here, with signals of confident engagement and active gesticulation as he talks and a walk that suggests he's enjoying the attention and possible admiration of the crowds."

The 39-year-old prince was dressed in casual attire which he accessorised with black sunglasses.

He appeared enthusiastic and happy to be there as he chatted away with people in attendance backstage.

The body language specialist also analysed the couple's appearance as they stepped back on US soil in further depth.

She claims that their closeness, which was shown in a picture of them walking together on holiday, had been replaced with a "separated look".

She opined: "There's no sign of any lingering post-holiday glow from Meghan's body language here and that romantic, idyllic hand-in-hand pose we saw from Harry and Meghan as they strolled through deserted streets seems to have been replaced by a more separated look as Meghan rushes ahead across the tarmac, leaving Harry to chat to someone as he trails behind."

Ms James also added that Meghan walking ahead of Harry made it seem like she was in a desperate rush to get back to their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

She said: "The idyllic hand-in-hand wandering through empty streets look in their holiday photo is gone and Meghan's raised armed point, dipped chin and speedy-looking stride suggests some tension as she takes the lead, as though she might be keen to get back to their home."
