Big Brother housemates were left stunned following Thursday's episode, where Matty was evicted in a shock twist after they received emotional letters from home spurring them on as the final loomed around the corner.

He was savagely booted out the back door of the diary room just hours before the final five were announced. Yinrun read out his letter before the message from Big Brother at the end confirmed Matty was the next evicted.

Housemates were gathered in the living room as Big Brother said: "Housemates. Before the gates of heaven close for the day, I wanted to give you all the ultimate heavenly gift - your letters from home."

Matty, freshly evicted from the house, spoke to OK! Magazine following his exit as he admitted to feeling "traumatised" by the experience and that he wouldn't choose to do it again due to "messy" relationships in the house.

He alluded to the 'love triangle' between Jordan, Henry, and himself, as he said: "It was very complex and then when I found out that Henry had feelings for Jordan it just got messy."

Matty got involved in a 'love triangle' with Jordan and Henry.

Discussing what his boyfriend thought of the 'triangle', Matty said: "My boyfriend thought it was just funny, he could see what it was. I'm such an overthinker, I'm very sensitive and I really care about other people's feelings which at the detriment of myself, I realised in this process.

"I was trying to appease him, but I wasn't appeasing myself, actually, so I think my boyfriend could see that I was stuck between two places."

He added that in the outside world they could have "just gone their separate ways" but in the house they were also in the same friendship group and he didn't want to "isolate" himself or Jordan.

Big Brother fans were stunned after Jordan suddenly began kissing Henry. Speaking out about this relationship in the house, Matty said: "Jordan did like me throughout the process and I think Henry likes Jordan."

He added: "From day one they have been super close friends but I also believe that Henry really likes Jordan in a romantic way, Jordan doesn't like Henry in a romantic way. But he's kissing him when he's having a glass of wine but Jordan's being honest and upfront about that saying 'Well I have some friends that I kiss'.

"In one sense it's a little bit confusing but he's saying it and being honest and maybe Henry is expecting there to be something a little bit more. But I feel like Jordan just wants friendship from Henry."

When asked if he'd take part in Big Brother again Matty replied: "No, honestly I am traumatised from it.

"I'm so grateful for the experience, I had the best time of my life but I'm in quite a stable, emotional state outside of the house and that place put me up and down, up and down, every few days."

Tonight's final will see one of the remaining five scoop the whopping £100,000 prize money as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best crown the winner of the civilian series. The hosts will also get the first opportunity to sit down with the five finalists for their exclusive chat following their exit.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm for the live final on ITV2 and ITVX.
